Roaches Trip Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to not having a driver, the Roaches trip has had to be cancelled. We apologise but have had no other option. Luckily this hasn't coincided with a stunning weather weekend! If you know of anyone who won't see this message could you let them know, we will go down to the union at 6.30 to turn people away.
Sorry for the late notice,
Your committee.

Gear Amnesty

We're missing a bit of gear after the Lakes trip, so after this weekend can you all fess up please and give it us back? In the pub on Wednesday is fine. We need it all back else we don't have complete racks/gear to lend out to people, so no one else gets to climb...

If you're wanting to keep it for easter just give us a call and let us know what you've got and how long you want it for - and if you're wanting to borrow gear for easter you can do that in the last week of term.

We'll cash your cheques otherwise!

Inter-University Bouldering Competition, Wednesday 13th February

Manchester Uni are holding a regional bouldering competition for university clubs. I reckon we should get a crack team together, rock on down there and tear it up a bit - our club pride is at stake here!

The comp is being held on the afternoon of Wednesday 13th February, at the MCC (Manchester Climbing Centre), 2pm - 5pm. The format is the same as the BUSA comp and the Leeds Wall bouldering comps by the looks of it, so it'd be good training/practice for future comps. There's no limit on the number of people that can enter, or indeed on your skill level, so come one come all! It should be a really fun event, with teams from Manc Uni, Manc Met, Salford and Liverpool all taking part.

If anyone is interested in going then let me know, and also if you've got a car - if there's not enough car drivers going then we might be able to take a minibus, if we can find a van driver that is.
